When my oncologist suggested I should receive treatment for prostate cancer I was asked see a surgeon and a radiotherapist to decide how I was to be treated. I met both and was immediately impressed by Mrs Ellis. She was professional, friendly, empathetic to my concerns and extremely knowledgeable. Tracey carefully explained what the procedure entailed and the possible side and after effects I would face during my treatment and in the future. During my treatment I found the Rosemere Unit extremely well organised and the staff friendly, helpful and well trained. In conversation they expressed their high regard for their consultant. Whilst being treated I had four reviews with Tracey and every care was taken to answer my questions and to offer advice / treatment of side effects. The free parking and drinks were a bonus. Every effort was made to make my treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. I would recommend her and her team unreservedly.

Always listened and reassured me. Answered all questions I had for her clearly, be in during treatment or afterwards. Always responded to and acted on emails sent to her. Couldn't rate her more really.

I was having real problems with the treatment i was receiving for Prostate Cancer. I had a catheter for eight weeks, during this time i had recurring infections and Mrs Tracey Ellis was the one person that gave me the help and support i needed. Mrs Ellis was a great liaison between myself and the doctor's / consultant. The daily support and help i received from Mrs Ellis helped get through a very painful and difficult time. I am not sure how i could suggest that this type of care could be improved. However, what i do know is when you are suffering from cancer and struggling with the treatment. I was very fortunate to have Mrs Ellis as my support, helping with my daily pain and concerns and organizing helpful medications.
